Alameda County-wide Homeless Prevention and Rehousing Program

Eden I&R’s 2-1-1 program is a partner in the implementation of the county-wide homeless prevention and rehousing program funded by the ARRA (Federal Stimulus Funds). The program, as defined by US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), is intended to provide temporary financial assistance and housing relocation and stabilization services to individuals and their families who are homeless or would be homeless but for this assistance. 2-1-1 will be a point of entry, assessment and referral to the six regional Housing Resource Centers that will provide a variety of prevention and re-housing services.
