Afterhours Emergency Phone Service
Eden I & R handles afterhours emergency calls for the Alameda County
Children's Protective Services, the Alameda County Public Guardian's Office,
and Alameda County Adult Protective Services.
Disaster Recovery Services
As a result of our role in the aftermath of the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake
and the October 1991 Berkeley/Oakland Hills firestorm, Eden I & R
is recognized as a major link between disaster victims and recovery services,
as well as a leader in disaster planning alliances, locally and state
wide. We are the lead communications agency in the
Alameda County
Collaborating Agencies Responding to Disaster (CARD) and a member
of disaster councils throughout Alameda County.
Translation Services
Eden I&R provides 24-hour translation service to assist AT&T operators
in the San Francisco Bay Area when Cantonese-speaking individuals dial
"0".
