2-1-1 Posters available
Posters are now available to community organizations, government offices, and businesses which describe the services that are available by calling 2-1-1. These 12 X 18” posters are available in English and Spanish. We encourage our community partners to display the posters in a visible location so that all Alameda County residents are aware of the vital service available to those seeking health, housing and human services.
Posters can be picked up at Eden I&R’s offices at 570 B Street, Hayward or arrangements can be made to get posters by contacting Sarah Finnigan at firstname.lastname@example.org or 510-727-9505.

At Eden I&R...
We believe that all individuals are entitled to fully utilize all community resources for which they are eligible.
“I live in Union city. I am calling on behalf of my uncle who is in Oakland. The Resource Specialist who helped me was more than helpful. She was very patient and calm, she took her time. She explained things to me and helped spell things out. She really went above and beyond to help me today, and I am so thankful to you for having her on your staff.”

We believe that optimum utilization of these resources can substantially enhance the quality of life in the community.
“One of the Alameda County Probation Department, Deputy Probation Officers was desperately trying to help a family living in a hotel find housing. I referred the Officer to the 2-1-1 service. 2-1-1 was able to provide the family with several options.”
- Neola Crosby, Program Services Coordinator, Alameda County

We believe that access to those resources is often limited by lack of awareness of their existence.
“The best resource for real-time housing information is 2-1-1. They are the County’s go to resource for housing services.”
- Aisha Brown, Aide to Alameda County Supervisor Keith Carson
